Brief Description:  Pilot drill Front Upper & Lower Spar Doubler

Used the webs to pilot drill 6W3-2 and 6W3-3 both right and left.

The process:

Line up the part with hole locations over grooves the web is on top.

Leave the edge out a little and line up the ends then clamp to the table.

Start in the center and use a clamp to draw the spar cap up to the edge of the web.

Pilot drill and cleco.

Continue process left then right for about 6 total clecos per spar cap doubler.

I then drill all the other pilot holes with the drill press.

The weather was bad that day so the door stayed closed. I wrapped several layers of visqueen around the end hanging off the end of the table. Also a towel on the very end because it bumped into the door while drilling the last 3 holes.
