Brief Description: Metal Finishing Front Upper & Lower Spar Caps
Filed all four surfaces to remove any cross scratches followed by Sanding then Scotchbrite. The surfaces are now brushed finish.
I did this before drilling to make sure the blanks were air worthy.
The vixen file is the type that screws to a frame. The frame has a slight arc to make it easier to remove the surface imperfections. Hit it with 180 grit then maroon scotchbrite.
