Brief Description:
Qualify wing nose ribs
Today I made a 3/4" thick 6061-T6 block to the shape of the wing nose rib. Put the radius on both sides and used it to back the metal edge as I tapped the edge into shape.
The hammer face is polished and all surfaces are wiped clean before tapping.
Finished tips on all 14 ribs.
Qualifying block
Gently tapping out wrinkles.
