The punch is .24" dia and .040" deep. Use a 3/32 welding wire as a pilot for the two tools, make sure it's shorter than the total stack or you will peen the ends and it won't be easy to get it apart.
After running a couple of test pieces and adjusting the die, just lined up the pin and closed it up in the vice.
Opened the holes to size reaming the last operation. Tapped hold down screws. Filed slots.
