Now hold the contour gage flat to the table and adjust the shape along the line on the part. The part should be relaxed, don't force it.
Transfer line up from base. I marked a point at the base which is the intersection of the base and the low side of the station. Keep contour gage flush on it's base and line up the point, then draw the line on the station.
Mark a cross where the contour tool shape ends on the part. That is where the next station line segment begins
