Brief Description:  Wing Root Faring

Inital layout starts by making circle templates from 3" diameter to 8" diameter graduated in 1/2" increments. This makes 11 stations across the wing, I added one more for 12 stations then layed out vertical and horizontal lines every 6" using a 2 x 4 x 6 board to keep things square.

Starting at the flap edge, for each station I used the circle templates and established points of tangency on the lines, Image 1

I cut strips of 3/4" wide construction paper then taped them to the Vertical points. Using the templates I formed the paper, marked then cut the strips to size to the horizontal point then taped it in place at the bottom, again using the template to keep the shape. Image 2

Did this along both wings.

I used the 3" dia. twice at the front and may use that radius for the entire leading edge, havent decided yet.
