I started off today by building the cradle for construction of the leading edges and fuel tanks. I constructed it out of a 2x4 and 1/2 inch plywood as called out in the plans. Everything went well except attaching the plywood to the 2x4. The plywood split on one side and isn't super sturdy. I'm going to try it and see how it works. If it doesn't work then I'll use some leftover 3/4 inch particle board from the wing cradle to build new uprights.
After finishing the first cradle I moved on to building the wing storage cradle. I made the ends out of 3/4 inch particle board and cut up 2x4s for all the cross bracing. I also cut a 1x6 as well. It is all ready to be assembled.
