Today I riveted the VA-111 to the long pushrod and riveted the threaded end for the rod end bearing to the aileron pushrods. I'm not totally happy with the rivets for the aileron pushrods but I think they will be ok. The AN470AD4-12 rivets wanted to tip over when I tried to squeeze them. I got them to spec but the shop heads are pretty ugly. I pop riveted the VA-111s to the long pushrods and that went great.
