This evening I spent time riveting all the platenuts to the Z brackets for the right fuel tank. I also drilled and countersunk the holes for the platenut holes on the right wing spar. I had to use the deburring tool with the #40 countersink on it to countersink two of the holes because the countersink cage would not fit next to the spar bars.
I had some trouble riveting the platenuts on at first because the area between the ribs is so tight. I ended up drilling out two rivets but eventually got all the platenuts riveted.
After finishing the platenuts on the spar I drilled out all the rivets from the platenuts on the first set of Z brackets. Now I have lots of extra K1000-3 platenuts.
