I'm glad today is over! Prepping the wing ribs is a lot of work. I started out the day using a scotchbrite wheel on a bench grinder to prepare the edges of the ribs. I then switched to a die grinder to treat the edges I couldn't reach with the bench grinder and all the lightening holes.
I moved on to straightening the flanges on the ribs and then used the fluting pliers to take the bow out of them.
After finishing all of that I went through and marked the ribs according to right and left wing and their position in the wing. As I did that I stacked them in order from inboard to outboard and forward and aft parts of the wing.
