Time to move onto the cowling, before I can paint this there are some little things here and there to be finished off (at the time I had enough of working with fibreglass so I moved onto other things). First thing to do was to make the hole dipstick to check the oil level. I just made a small hole with a hole saw just big enough for me to get my fingers in and pull out the dipstick. An aluminium cover plate was made to go over the hole and attached with 4 southco's. Off course it turnes out I don't have enough southco's of the right length (100's) so I'll need to order some, I thought I just placed my last order with Spruce, guess not...
