After a 3 week holiday and being struck down by the flu the last couple of days I finally got back to my project tonight. I did some fibreglass work on the cowling, the top aft edge of the cowl was always a mm or 2 short so today I decided to start fixing that. I started on the LH side today, I sanded the cowl edge, added a couple of layers of fibreglass from the inside and filler from the outside, then sanded everything to the correct shape. It now just needs some new gel coat on the top and that will be perfect. Not as big a drama as I expected.
