I took the paint back off the panel because I'm not happy with how easily it scratches, I bought a different enamel paint I will try. I then realized the panel I designed does not allow for a fuel sight gauge, the outer hole for the passenger headset is right where the sight gauge tube would go. Since I don't have an engine instrument that is capable of being connected to a fuel level probe I need the sight gauge. I first tried closing the hole where the sight gauge would go and moving it inwards, but I was not happy with the results of that experiment, also there are a few other imperfections that I would like to see fixed so I decided to re-make the whole panel. I had two go's at remaking the panel as you can see in the picture, the first one I was not happy with the 3-1/8 hole for the altimeter, it turned out slightly enlarged. The second one I'm happy with. Now I can go back to wiring my aircraft.
