Before reinstalling the compressor, I relieved a small section of the lower front baffle that was making contact with the back of the compressor. In additon, I filed a bit off a compressor flange that was also touching the front cylinder baffle. I reinstalled the compressor and verified clearance. It is very tight but nothing touches.
