Brief Description: Install Control Cable Firewall Carrythroughs
I had previously purchased three adjustable control cable firewall carrythrough eyeball brackets. The size of the brackets precluded using the prepunched holes in the firewall recess. So I purchased some thicker stainless steel sheet in order to make a plate to mount the three brackets and cover the existing holes. I ended up with a rectangular plate that overlays a smaller rectangular cutout in the existing firewall. Once fabricated, I sealed the seam and riveted the plate in place and mounted the brackets. A much more acceptable solution than three plastic snap bushings...seriously!
