Brief Description:  Butt Joint

Normally, the joints on the pre punched fuselage skins have been very tight. The only exception was the joint between the forward side skins and the forward turtle deck. And then only at the very front was there a slight gap. The nature of pre punched skins and sub structure doesn't allow for much, if any, tweeking. So, and I know it's a bit of bad form, I lightly filled just the front few inches of the joint with glazing. Afterwards, I sanded and lightly cut a thin seam using a modeling Zona saw. I then spot primed and further sanded until I was happy with the joint. Final priming and paint will fill most of the gap but now it's uniform along its length.
