Drilled the new fastener holes in the bottom of the cowl to attach the rear support bracket. I had to trial fit the cowl about three times to ensure there was no interference with the gear leg in an extended state. It needs one more trimming but all in all, the fit is much better. Van's plans make a bunch of assumptions when it comes to the lower cowl cut outs...most are incorrect.
I fit the seal material to the left inlet a/c cover plate. I need to fill the pop rivets but this job is nearly finished.
