I sanded the lower main wheel pant fairings as they contoured into the pant. I then applied the first coat of slurry to establish the transition.
I got back to the nose wheel pant. I used some LED lights to back light through the pre drilled #40 holes in the mounting bracket (2 holes per side). The LEDs are bright enough to show through the gel coated fiberglass. After a lot of fitting, measuring, adjustting and fitting I got the four holes drilled.
