I continued sanding the cabin cover and interior carbon fiber bits and pieces. This kind of sanding is quite tedious. After I finished sanding I spot primed a few suspect spots. There will be a bit more hole filling necessary on the sharp edges of the instrument panel. The problem areas are small voids along the transition edges of the aluminum panel inserts. It's a bear getting into those areas.
I sent out the door hinges for nickle plating. They just came back and look great. I was advised to apply a couple coats of clear laquer for further corrosion resistance. So, being this a paint category, I applied two coats of clear laquer to the hinges.
