I was planning to go to Denver today but a snowstorm closed the passes and now the traffic is a mess. So, I tackled a job I wasn't really looking forward to doing. With the exception of the door frames, I trimmed and sanded the cabin cover perimeter and rear window openings. I'm going to hold off a bit before I make the door perimeter cuts. I suspect the extra material provides a bit more rigidity to the structure which should make fitting slightly earsier. I spent more time cleaning the shop from fiberglass dust than making the actual cuts. Also, I used my Fein oscillating tool with a saw blade to make the cuts. I've cut plenty of fiberglass in the past with a die grinder and fiber cut-off blade. The oscallating tool is a far superior tool for this job.
