The good folks at Duckworks sent me a thicker lens for the right leading edge taxi light. As I mentioned previously, I modified these lenses on my RV-8 in order that they sit flush with the leading edge skin. I opted to do the same with the -10. It's not a particulary difficult process but does require removing a bit of plexi along the edges of the lens (the portion that nests under the leading edge skin). I use a laminate trimmer slowerd with a speed controller. I really like the results ove the standard recessed lens. Anyway, I made the modifications today. The lens and taxi light fixture are now complete. The next step is to attach the leading edge to the main wing.
