I finally got back to work on the airplane today. I installed all the 1/4 turn receptacles on the lower and boot cowls. I also fit and installed the oil access door. I used solid AN rivets to install the receptacles and to mount the oil access door. In addition, the hinges are installed to the cowl with #4 screws. The purpose is that I can permanently mount the door with the AN rivets before painting. Consequently, I won't have any unsightly bare pop rivets around the door.
