Hit a home run today with assistance from Tom Chapman and Rob Brooks.
Assembled the ailerons and flaps. Balanced the elevators and ailerons.
Installed the rear corner hold down brackets for the skylight.
Installed the cowl fasteners. I need a few longer fasteners that I'll order next week.
Installed and trimmed the elevator fairings. Unfortunately, the fairing attach plate is not located at the correct angle due to an error in the plans manual. Rans needs to fix this.
Assembled, mounted, pitched and tracked the propeller.
Installed safety wire to the prop bolts as well as added additional safety wire to the carb heat boxes.
