Mounted the horizontal stabilizers. The mounting bolts were a challenge but after some work on the mounting tabs and insert everything came together. Installed the SS flying and landing wires. The left stabilizer required a bit of a twist to align properly . Unfortunately, it caused the inboard top fabric to wrinkle slightly. I was able taughten the fabric to an acceptable level.
We temporarily mounted the elevators. They'll need to be removed for balancing next week. The elevator push pull tubes are a bit narrower than the elevator horns. We added a couple of thin washers on each side which seemed to take care of the problem. Lastly we rigged the elevators. They have a degree or so more throw in both pitch directions.
