eighth flight.
Today was another fun flight. All I’ve been doing so far is simply flying for fun, not really taking any flight readings. I did fly over a few friends houses, but at two of the three houses no one was outside. Strafing our friends at the third house was fun, however.
Since she seems to be running fine and strong, I continue to venture farther and farther away from my home airport. I think next time I fly I may actually venture out and land at the closest airport, just for practice.
Today was pretty windy and the wind had some gusts up to about 15MPH, so I was a little apprehensive about flying. Fortunately, the wind was only about 20 degrees of the runway, which made it a easier to take. Also, when flying the air was a little choppy. When it came time to land, she seemed to handle the wind pretty well and I was able to slip her in with no problems. The bounces from yesterday were all gone.
I’m starting to like this little bird; I just need to get the engine broke in a little more so she has a little more power.
