Brief Description: Installed snaps to hold the seat cushion in place
Tonight I installed the snaps that are used to hold the seat cushion on place at the cross-member behind the seat. I bought some snaps and a 'tool' to install them for about 5 bucks for the whole thing. Really simple to install, just poke a hole through the material where you want the snap, insert the snap top (female part, see Image 1) through the hole, place in the tool bottom (see Image 3), put the other side of the snap over the snap top that protrudes through the material, and hammer the metal tool part, mashing the snap parts together.
For the male part of the snap, there is a hole through the snap that is just the right size for a rivet, so I just riveted the male snap part to the cross-member and threw out the other part of the snap. Simple. See image 3.
