Tonight I worked on changing the throttle. Like I explained a few days ago, I need to re-design the throttle so the handle isn’t in the way of seeing the Enigma display.
The first picture shows the throttle with the original handle.
The second picture shows the throttle quadrant parts plus the new throw arm that has a 90 degree bend instead of the slight bend of the original throw arm. The third picture shows the re-assembled throttle quadrant with the new throw arm. I think the new throttle may take just a little more muscle to move than the original because the throw arm isn’t quite as long from the handles to the pivot point as the original was. If I have to, I have enough material to make a new, longer throw arm.
