Brief Description: Riveted on the lower aft fuselage bottom
Today I installed the rear fuselage bottom (the last thing to be installed!!). There are probably 300 rivets that go in this bottom and I ran out before I finished. To make matters worse, I really want to weight the airplane tomorrow so I can calculate the weight and balance to mail to the DAR so I can get the inspection scheduled. Fortunately, another builder, Neil Wischer Sonex 1391 only lives 20 miles away, so I went and borrowed enough rivets to rivet it on. Surprising how long it took to drill and deburr all the holes – I was under that plane for about 5 hours.
