When I installed and rigged the wings I drilled one of the wing mounting bolt holes just a little too tight to the side wall, so installing the wing mounting bolt was a pain – the bolt at the flats had enough room, but not the washer. So today, I drilled out and removed the vertical 1-1/2” angle and remade this part. The only hard part was drilling out the flush rivets inside the tunnel. To drill out these rivets I bought a 90 degree adaptor, (designed to be used with battery screwdrivers) and busted a drill bit in half to reduce its length and it worked out ok. I few hours later this piece was replaced, which does mean I’ll have to replace the blocks on the wings, re-level the wings and re-drill – but I’ll feel better about it.
Spent the rest of the day cleaning up odds and ends.
