Brief Description:  Rewired the panel.

This weekend was spent re-wiring the new panel. Since the new panel is removable, I've added extra wire so that the screws can be removed and the panel can then be pulled out and tilted down. This should make is much easier to install extra components.

The first image shows the front of the new panel. The second image shows all the wiring at the back of the panel. The third image shows how the panel can be moved out of the way. The sequence needed to remove the panel is to first remove the four screws for the Enigma, pull that out and remove all the cables/hoses from the rear and set the unit aside. The next step is to remove the screws for the sub panel, and then pull the subpanel out and flip it so it faces down. Not a lot of room, but it sure beats laying on the floor to see back there.
I am so glad I decided to re-do the old panel - this one looks (and works) so much better!

This week I'll install the throttle and adjustment cable to the dial-a-trim and install the panel. Perhaps by next weekend I'll be starting the AeroVee?
