Had the day off from work today so I spent the whole day working on installing the cowl. I can’t believe that I was looking forward to this part, because it has been no fun so far. I started working on it a few weeks ago but waited until the weather got warmer cause I thought that might help, but it is still a pain. I have the port side installed and it is pretty decent, and I have the center piano hinge and the aft piano hinge on the starboard half, but the bottom doesn’t fit worth a crap. I think I need to keep tension on it and lightly heat the fiberglass to pull it into shape
I’ve looked at quite a few other builder’s sites and they all seem to have the same type of problem with the cowl.
