The last few nights I have been working on the arms for the flip back canopy. The original arms I made were out of 1-1/2” flat stock and were kind of wobbly with the canopy up. So to make this a bit stiffer, I remade the arms out of 1-1/2” angle, cut down so one side was only about 1/2”. This really stiffened it up with the canopy in the up position.
I heard from Sonex today, and my engine is ready for pick up. I plan to pick it up on Friday and also place an order for the Enigma.
That leaves the ELT and the radio as the only big things I have yet to purchase.
