Brief Description: Started elevator and polished rudder
Spent the first few hours today polishing the rudder. I think I may have finally got the hang of it - but it still takes a loonngg time to get a mirror finish. Anyway, after 3 hours, one side of the rudder is getting close. Had to stop polishing becaue I busted both the cheapo buffing pads I bought 2 days ago. My plan is to not call any major category (wings, fuselage or emgennage) complete until it is fully polished.
After that I started working on the elevator. Collected all the material and starting measuring and drilling. The assembly of the elevator is real similar to the rudder. Piece of cake.
