Planned to spend the entire day polishing the wings and control surfaces, however, my 20 yr old, dime store polisher had other plans. After about an hour this morning, it died. It may have had something to do with the arbor I had to make. All of my buffing pads have a 5/8" thread but my old polisher had a different size so I welded a 5/8" bolt on to the right size nut for the polisher, but it wasn't perfectly centered so it had just a slight wobble, which probably caused enough vibration to cause the old polisher to fail.
Oh well, what's another 200 bucks for a new Milwaukee polisher? I'm sure I'll have to give the wife a good 'listening to' for this.
