I messed around with the Quadrant side of the throttle and came up with this. You see with the quadrant the way it is, in the full retarded position the cable needs to be bent way to much and a new hole will need to be drilled to give full throw. I layed under the panel tonight and scratched my head for awhile and came up with this fix. What it needs is a little addition to the top of each arm so that the Cable comes in higher and less of an angle down. I sent an email to the manufacture of the Quadrant (Dayton Murdock) and he emailed me asking for my telephone number. So while I was waiting for his call I came up with this. I sent it too him hoping he will maybe agree with it and make something up for me as a prototype. Wishfull thinking, hey? Good Night!!
