I took the advise on Dan C's web page about drilling out the holes at the Spar first and clecoing the fairing in the top and then pulling the fairing around to the bottom hole and cleco it again. This works very well. I then matched drilled the fairing through to the wing roots. I marked the edge for clearance from the fuselage. The distance should be a minimum of 1/4" and 3/8" maximum. I used a scrap 1/4" piece of wood and ran it along the side of the fuselage while holding a marker along the fairing to transfer the distance onto the fairing. When I have the wings on the table to install the bottom panel I will finish the nutplates.
