Brief Description: Bent stabilizer spar and doublers, repaired brake.
Bent the stabilizer spar, and started bending the spar doublers, when my sheet metal brake malfunctioned. While trying to bend the thicker .032 metal for the doublers, on one side of the piano hinge on the brake, the rivet heads pulled through the holes on the hinge. Replaced the damaged rivets and added a second row of rivets closer to the pivot point of the hinge on each side of the hinge. Finished bending the spar doublers, brake is working well now.
