Brief Description:  rear spar doublers and attachment plate

put on the two doublers for the rear spar. no problem. learned my lesson from the front spar -- need to make sure the doublers are really secured to the spar before drilling -- use as many clamps as you have, the more the btter.

centered doubler on rear spar. back-drilled all of the CNC holes with #40 holes. NOTE: there is a difference between "TOP" and "BOTTOM" of the rear horizontal stabilizer spar. the top has a flange that is slightly closed (85 degree bend). the bottom has a bend of 95. -- so the doublers that you use ARE different.

cleco'd the doublers in place.

found the shim, 6t2-6hd. centered it on the spar. pushed it flush up against the TOP doubler (the TOP being the side of the spar which has a 85 degree bend). back-drilled/cleco'd four corners of the shim using the CNC'd holes.
