Twisted the DSAB wires together and connected the serial output from the 496 to the HS34 then connected power and ground to the units then powered them up. Setup the screens the way I want them and got the 496 talking to the EFIS. Checked screen transfer and baro heading and course knob. Set up RMI needles. The course knob is working when being driven by the 496 which is wrong as the 496 should be setting the course. I'm going to check with Dynon to see if this is an option with the new operating software that may be turned off. Evetrthing else worked as expected.
