Brief Description:  Rudder pedal brake assembly

After installing master cylinders I was not happy with the difference in travel between the left and right pedals. The right pedals would move further forward than the left. Also the vertical orientation of the left and right pedals were different. I checked and re checked the manual and I had done the installation per 06D-03A Rev B. I decided the book was wrong. The book shows all of the brackets going into the first and second hole in the floor chanel, in fact the the left pedal brackets go in the third and fourth holes in the floor channels. This puts the left pedal and right pedal brake cylinders close to the same arc. I moved the brackets to the new location and pedal travel was close to the same on left and right pedals, but the orientation was not the same. I cut a quarter inch of threads off of the left pedal cylinders and I was able to get full travel and orientation out of the left and right pedals.

Note: Figure 06c02 shows the proper position of the brake cylinder brackets.
