I called Rans tech and got Ed to email me a template for the flap pushrod cutout. Taped it to the right side and transfered it to the skin. Cut out opening. Installed right flap and connected pushrod. Ran the flaps up and down to check for clearance. The template worked great the rod is close to the rear of the opening with flaps up and near the front with flaps down. I need to clean up the opening a bit then on to the left.
