Ran a wire back to my ELT as I hear if I have to install a 406 MZ unit it needs a power wire for the horn. Installed a bulkhead fitting for the wires that pass through the firewall. It gets filled with epoxy but I think I will use high temp RTV just in case I ever have to add a wire. Cut carb heat cable to length and installed through firewall.
