Brief Description:  Left fuel tank Data

Set tank on a 3 degree incline. Connected multimeter to sending unit. Meter reads 123 oms empty. Added one quart at a time until resistance changed. The float begins to work at 1.35 gal. Conected fuel line and started a siphon. All except 4 ounces of fluid siphoned out through the fuel pickup. The tanks would be a lot nicer if the vent and drain bushings were molded into the tank. I had a lot of trouble mounting the fitings. It takes three hands to do it properly and I only have two. I had to get carlene to hold the washers while I tightend things up. I'm not sure that I will be able to get drain and fuel line on without turning the fitings. The left tank is a good 1/2 inch smaller than the right. I will probably put some fuel in it to see if it gets any bigger. If it doesn't I'll have to build some support into the wing to keep it in place.
