02/15/2009 – Welding Table Construction of Tubular Steel Fuselages - Vex Aviation / David Russo @ 2005 582 RT 4A Enfield, NH 03748 I purchased the book some time ago but I haven't really had time to go through it in much detail. This past week I put it on my "To Do" list. I gave it a cursory look over and then started reading the detail. The process seems fairly straightforward. The book provides a receipt for building a workbench for fabricating and welding the steel tubular fuselage. I went over the plans to determine the dimensions of the fuselage to determine the size table that would need to be start fabricating the fuselage. I’ve started to draw the plans for the table with Autosketch and when completed this will help with a materials list for the table then building can commence.
