Brief Description: Flap gap and Aileron Gap Fairings
Installed the gap fairings today. I had previously Matchdrilled, dimmpled and deburred the gap fairings and was waiting until I installed the Aileron Mounting brackets before finishing. I discoverd that on the bottom side of the Flap gap fairing there were aprox 10 rivets that can not be reached by bucking, so after researching and calling vans they recomended Pop rivets in there place. Makes sense, structuraly sound and won't be seen. I will have Keith Lawson and family help with the bucking of the rivets that can be reached just difficult to.
