Brief Description:  Breadboard and power up the Stratus ADS-B

Remove the black ADS-B IN box from the forward tray to make room for the encoding altimeter and maybe the GPS antenna - try to not add any more metal up front.
Will still need to figure out where to mount the black box. It has a dedicated power switch, and three indicator lamps, so it is obviously intended to be mounted within the cockpit in view and within reach of the pilot.

Sort out the factory sub-D connector that goes to the encoding altimeter and the wires on the Aircraft Spruce-supplied harness that comes off the back of the ADS-B main unit. These will probably need to be shortened but that will depend on final mount location of the black box IN unit and then the altimeter.
Meantime: get a 20-pin connector strip mounted on a board and bread-board the wires from the altimeter and the ADS-B head together on it.
Power on the ADS-B.
Start into setup.
Stuck: ADS-B wants a 6-digit ICAO hex code.
FAA issued an 8-digit ICAO hex code.
Need to figure out what to put into the machine.

Hooked up the GPS antenna.
Rolled it out in view of the sky. Not sure if it got GPS or not.
