Brief Description:  Bring KitLog up to date - continued

KitLog does not enforce a text length limit on the Detailed Description text entry box when adding a Construction Log entry. It just truncates when saving and posting. This is a defect that needs to be fixed. This is a very simple thing; no excuse for it.

Resuming previous log entry:

The motor has 14.0 hours on it and has completed its break-in cycle. It is ready to hang on the fuselage. 17-gallon aluminum fuel tank from Greg Klemp in Neshkoro, WI has been modified to accept a low-fuel-level float valve switch and a larger return line fitting from the fuel injection system.

Avionics are in hand. Still need to get the parachute. FAA registration paperwork has been submitted. Will submit additional log entries with accumulated photos to document the 51% rule on this build project.

Next construction steps: install and plumb the fuel tank, permanently install the landing gear and do the final plumbing on the Black Max brakes, and run the ADS-B transponder antenna and its wire to the aft mount point while the fuselage is still on the rotisserie. Will probably also do some electrical work while the frame is up at a more comfortable work height. Then, get it on its feet and hang the motor.
