Brief Description: Fuel tank, landing gear, engine mounted

Weekend of 13-14 APR 2019 and misc. work since last log entry: Fuel tank is permanently mounted and the first section of plumbing is complete. Sump drain, main drain through the screened strainer for the engine, brass cut-off valve, then tee to main line drain, then up toward the fuel pump system. Can sample fuel from the sump or the main line drain, which is lower. No gascolator: not enough room between tank and bottom of fuselage to make it a true low point, and there are two other filters between tank and fuel injection. Flight control cables re-rigged to sticks and pedals. Back 40 landing gear installed and aligned. Do not like excess splay in the axle fittings and will rebuild them from scratch with slight negative camber. Nose wheel re-installed. Fuselage is off the rotisserie and on its feet. Motor has been permanently hung on the airframe. Waiting on fuel line tee from Aircraft Spruce and some electrical parts.
