Panel rack for EIS and ADS-B fabricated and permanently installed just above knee level. Remaining panel above that hinges toward pilot for access. Hardware and bus tray installed forward of that, above pilot's knees.
Stratus ADS-B installed: main console in lower right panel, transponder under tail, GPS at top front of cockpit for now, might interfere with compass or require compass elsewhere. Encoding altimeter and ADS-B In unit installed in nose cone and all hard-wired to main console. Still have to make the GPS antenna connections. Parts in hand.
Grand Rapids 2000 EIS main console installed in lower left panel. Connection bus installed. Need to build the sub-d connector jumper to the bus and start reconnecting sensors as per how it was wired on the test stand.
VHF radio installed and powered up last night. Fit it right between EIS and ADS-B.
Top half of the panel clecoed to hinge. Altimeter, airspeed, bank angle, and angle of attack installed. Not a lot of room for anything else. Maybe a row of switches. Remaining six gauges will need to go in lower center console between legs and on floor in front of front seat.
