Tonight I found a .125" piece of aluminum scrap in my pile of left over aluminum.
I built a plate with the appropriate 7/16" hole in the middle. This plate will sit on top of the oversized hole in the landing gear mount.
The plate will be held into position with two AN426-AD3 rivets and I'm also dabbing on a little Metalset A4 (similar to JB weld) between the two pieces.
I shot the mount with some rattle can primer and I also etched, alodined, and primed the plate.
While I had the primer out, I shot the places where the metal touches underneath the front right floor board. I figured I'd go ahead and do it while I had the primer out and the floor board out.
They're all drying tonight. Tomorrow I'll get started putting everything back together again.
Mount with primer applied and plate.
Floor ribs with primer on top. Typical rattle can. Nothing fancy.
